OMR is strongly committed to reducing the impact of its production chain on the environment. In fact, an important step to achieve circularity in the use of raw materials has been taken together with its main steel supplier, Arvedi, to which scrap metal (SCRAP) is delivered. Arvedi, in turn, supplies OMR with recycled raw material. This virtuous circle made it possible to cut the indirect emissions generated by steel production by a total of around 12,000 tCO2eq in 2021.
